How you can help us

You can support the HRI in different ways, such as making a donation, getting involved in fundraising events or volunteering your time and expertise.

Individual donations
For HRI, as with many charities, donations from individuals are one of the main sources of unrestricted funding. Details about different ways to give can be found on our make a donation page.

Give as you live
By taking a few moments to sign up to Giveasyoulive you could help raise funds for HRI every time you buy online with famous companies such as Amazon, Tesco, Expedia, Boots, Virgin Trains and Lastminute.com. Companies signed up to the ‘Give as you live’ scheme donate a percentage of whatever you spend on their websites to the charity of your choice, with absolutely no cost to yourself.

Registration is fast and easy. In the final stages just search for HRI or Homeopathy Research Institute and select us as your charity of choice. With this fantastic scheme, for once there really is no downside, so please show your support and sign up now
Just make sure that when you shop online, you select 'Turn on give as you live' when prompted at the top of your screen.

In memoriam gifts
People often request that mourners make a donation to charity, rather than sending flowers. If you would like to make a gift in memory of a friend or relative, please contact us and we will be able to provide you with both the appropriate Gift Aid forms and information about the way in which the gift will be put to use by HRI.

Legacies
Leaving a gift to the HRI in your will enables you to continue supporting us in our work over the long term. Legacies also avoid inheritance tax – please see the HMRC website for more information.

Fundraising events
Either taking part in or organising a fundraising event for the HRI can be a fun way to support our work. Events, however small or large, can also benefit the charity by raising awareness of our work. So far HRI supporters have come up with ideas such as a tandem skydive with the Red Devils, a free homeopathy clinic with patients paying in the form of HRI donations and running a half-marathon. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss fundraising activity ideas with us.

Volunteering your time and expertise
Support we receive is not just in the form of direct financial donations. The HRI is fortunate to have the help of volunteers who enable us to keep our administrative costs to a minimum. For example, we currently have volunteers helping us with financial administration, publishing, public relations and facilitating meetings. If you would like to help the HRI as a volunteer, please contact us.
